Job summary

TIC_Craft in Texas seeks a Skilled Electrician Journeyman to plan, lay out, install, test and repair wiring, electrical fixtures, motors, equipment and control systems in accordance with plans and codes.

You will interpret drawings, install conduits, terminate cables, test systems for safety, work with high and low voltage, and perform repairs on electrical equipment. The role requires mobility on a construction site, ability to work irregular hours, and compliance with safety rules.

Qualifications

• Electrician Journeyman with power plant/industrial experience.
• Ability to read and follow written/oral instructions; communicate with supervision.
• Proficient in using hand and power tools and layout tools safely.

Responsibilities

• Interpret drawings and determine best work procedures and tools.
• Install and terminate cables, conduit, and cable trays.
• Install and fasten control and distribution apparatus.
• Test systems and ensure electrical safety and compatibility.
• Inspect work for compliance and correct deficiencies.
• Work with high and low voltage systems.
• Operate electrical and mechanical tools.
• Estimate sizes, quantities, and time for tasks.
• Observe safety rules and pass drug/fit tests.
