Job summary

ROCKWOOL Byhalia, MS is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician for the night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, on a 2-2-3 rotation. You will install, test, and maintain electrical systems in a modern facility, including drives and PLCs, with preventive maintenance practices.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of industrial electrical experience, knowledge of Electrical Code regulations, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a high-temperature environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of industrial electrical experience.
• Familiarity with Electrical Code regulations.
• Self-sufficiency with minimal supervision.
• Strong troubleshooting capabilities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team.
• Drive, commitment, positive attitude and high energy levels.
• Must be able to lift 60 pounds; up to 120 pounds with assistance.
• Work in high temperatures (>100°F) for several hours.

Responsibilities

• Install, examine, replace, and repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, fiber-optic and coaxial cables, lighting fixtures, and related components.
• Test electrical and electronic equipment for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance.
• Maintain and repair switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators, and reactors.
• Install, repair, test, and maintain motors, generators, and control systems.
• Use advanced troubleshooting to diagnose issues with electrical control systems.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs and maintain records.
