Job summary

Synerfac Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Electrician for a 12-hour NIGHT shift in Hazleton, PA. The role is permanent and requires a two-year associate degree in an electrical-related field (preferred) with at least five years of industrial maintenance electrician experience.

Expect interaction with managers, vendors, and customers and occasional travel. Responsibilities include reading drawings and electrical code specifications, installing and repairing wiring and electrical components, and

Qualifications

Regular, predictable, and punctual attendance is required.
Computer usage and typing skills are essential.
Excellent verbal and written communication with customers and colleagues.
Ability to work independently and complete assignments within set instructions.
Collaborates well with others and contributes to group objectives.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specs to layout industrial electrical equipment installations.
Install, examine, replace or repair wiring, outlets, conduits, lighting and related electrical components.
Test electrical equipment for continuity, current, voltage and resistance.
Maintain, repair and test switchgear, transformers, motors, and related control systems.
Conduct preventive maintenance and keep accurate maintenance records.
May install, maintain and calibrate industrial instrumentation as required.
Assist and train production employees in machinery operation and maintenance.
Limited travel may be required.
