Job summary

Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages LLC is seeking a Controls Technician to provide electrical and controls support for the Abilene plant. You will install, maintain, and modify electrical systems, review schematics, and work with voltages up to 600V in a fast-paced beverage production environment.

The role requires knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, and drive systems, plus strong problem-solving and adherence to safety standards. Overtime and shift flexibility are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
• 3–5 years maintenance experience in manufacturing, focusing on controls and electronics.
• Proficient in Allen Bradley PLCs, VFDs, HMIs; basic PLC programming knowledge.
• Able to read one-line diagrams, schematics, blueprints; capable of using test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical and control systems in production equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical/control issues up to 600V; repair wiring, controllers, and drives.
• Read blueprints/diagrams and install outlets, circuits, and load centers as needed.
• Test connections and components after installation to ensure safe operation.
• Maintain MCCs, switchgear, robots, transformers, and generators.
• Update CMMS with maintenance actions and findings.
