Qualifications

• 5+ years of automation/controls experience in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Proficiency troubleshooting PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, servo systems, and instrumentation.
• Knowledge of NEC and UL508A; NFPA 70E safety practices.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and P&ID diagrams.
• Experience with Ethernet/IP, DeviceNet, and ControlNet networks; basic network topology.

Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced troubleshooting and repairs on PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and servo systems.
• Interpret wiring diagrams, ladder logic, and P&ID diagrams to diagnose issues.
• Install, configure, and test automation components and electrical systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance to improve reliability and reduce downtime.
• Maintain CMMS records for parts usage and repairs.
• Collaborate with maintenance and engineering on system modifications.
