Job summary

MedVet is seeking a Nursing & ICU Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our emergency and specialty team in Washington. This full-time, overnight position covers nights from 7pm to 7am Thursday through Saturday, with competitive hourly pay and shift differentials.

Applicants should be WA-registered, with prior veterinary nursing or critical care experience and a strong ability to perform phlebotomy, place IV catheters, and assist with anesthesia and in-house lab work.

Qualifications

• Washington State Registered Veterinary Technician license required.
• Prior veterinary nursing or critical care experience preferred.
• Strong ability to calculate drug dosages and unit conversions.

Responsibilities

• Record and deliver organized rounds; discuss cases and gather information.
• Evaluate incoming patients and prioritize based on assessment.
• Collaborate with the patient care team on treatment plans and nursing care.
• Educate clients on home care, medications, and post-hospital wellness.
