Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervises nursing staff within the unit and provides coaching and mentoring.
• Lead and implement operational improvement initiatives and ensure compliance via staff coaching.
• Ensure equipment and supplies are adequately available for patient care during shifts.
• Maintain and update nursing competencies and annual requirements.
• Collaborate with Educator for orientation and educational needs.
• Participate in department PI activities and communicate results to leadership.
• Provide immediate counseling for staff when patient care or work environment is affected.
