Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Weston Hospital in Florida is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) for the SICU and CVICU to provide clinical supervision, unit coordination, and to advance patient-centered care on night shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.

You will mentor caregivers, lead quality improvement projects, participate in education for high-acuity critical care therapies including ECMO, IABP, CRRT, and ventilator management, and ensure staffing and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
• BSN.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Two years of recent clinical nursing experience.
• Strong demonstrated clinical knowledge and skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate unit clinical operations.
• Provide effective and efficient patient care to patients of all ages on assigned shifts.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration among unit caregivers and other departments/units.
• Ensure continuity of patient care information between shifts.
• Coordinate patient admissions, discharges, transfers, and other operational issues.
• Review major operational and patient care issues with Nurse Managers.
• Provide ongoing clinical evaluations of caregivers and supervise performance.
