Job summary

The role focuses on safely producing copper fittings to meet internal and customer specs, primarily through hydro-press equipment, and includes setting up and operating manual and automated machinery, plus cleaning and related tasks as directed by supervision. The ideal candidate will read precision tools (plug and ring gauges, micrometers, calipers), maintain a clean work

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Acceptable attendance record per hiring and job transfer policies.
• Ability to accurately read measurement tools (plug and ring gages, micrometers, calipers).
• Ability to understand and follow safety policies.
• Ability to understand and follow standard work practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate manually-fed and automated machinery safely, support, troubleshoot, maintain, and clean assigned equipment.
• Inspect manufactured fittings to quality specifications using measurement tools (plug/ring gages, calipers, micrometers).
• Keep work area clean and safe around machinery; perform daily housekeeping as assigned.
• Flow to available work and be prepared to work in other manufacturing areas as needed.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and participate in safety initiatives.
