Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operation instructions.
• Ability to apply learned information to situations with sound judgement.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic using U.S. customary units.

Responsibilities

• Set billet length and process parameters for optimum production and quality.
• Inspect metal quality and adjust setup to correct defects.
• Report production and quality issues to foremen and leads for improvements.
• Perform setup changes, tear downs, and changeovers as needed.
