Job summary

The Lodge at Primland in Meadows of Dan, VA, is seeking Golf Outside Operations staff for a part-time, seasonal role through November. You will greet guests, handle golf bags, clean carts, restock the outside areas, and assist with golf operations to ensure a smooth player experience.

The position pays $12.77 per hour plus gratuity and service charge. Eligible benefits include free team cafeteria, holiday pay, stay program, and discounts on F&B and spa.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of golf rules, course layout, and club selection strategy.
• Ability to read greens and provide accurate distance and shot recommendations.
• Excellent physical stamina to carry bags and walk long distances in varying weather.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to support and engage with players.
• High level of professionalism, reliability, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Greet golfers and other guests with a smile as they arrive at the Clubhouse
• Clean golf cars, golf clubs, carry golf clubs
• Ensure cart barn is clean and organized and that golf cars, rental clubs, guests clubs, and range balls are cleaned and stored properly every night
• Assist in keeping records on rental clubs, golf cars, rental shoes, and range balls, and report any damages or shortages
• Be familiar with the scheduled play each day, and to make sure that the outside service operation is prepared to handle the schedule
• Assist members and guests in creating a pleasant and satisfying golfing experience.
• Assist and follow up with members and guests on golfing experience.
• Assist in merchandising and creating new, interesting, and visually pleasing displays by maintaining a pristine shop appearance
• Maintain a professional and service-oriented environment in the workplace
• Have full knowledge of golf tournaments and events, and be able to answer member questions pertaining to the events.
• Handle guests' golf bags and other items pertaining to golf
