Valor Hospitality Partners, LLC is seeking an Overnight Hotel Engineer for The American Hotel in Atlanta. The role focuses on responding to engineering service calls, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring a safe, well-maintained hotel environment for guests and staff.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or trade training and at least two years of building maintenance experience, with skills in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and basic carpentry.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent trade school training.
• Two years of experience in building maintenance or related field.
• Ability to maintain HVAC, electrical, plumbing equipment and perform basic carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest requests with courtesy and efficiency.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on hotel equipment (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, boiler, pool, guest rooms).
• Take water samples and monitor water systems for proper chemical levels.
• Complete maintenance requests and record readings; respond to emergencies including power failures and alarms.
