Job summary

Trinity Health — Security Officer Nights is responsible for enforcing security policies to maintain a safe environment for staff, patients, visitors, and property. The role requires NYS Security Guard certification and may include weekend/holiday rotations with a night schedule from 11:00pm to 7:30am.

The candidate should have at least a high school diploma, CPR/BLS certification, and two years of security experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• NYS certification as Security Guard is required.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years security experience highly desirable.
• BLS/CPR certification and first aid training required.
• Participates in orientation and continuing education and updates knowledge and skills.

Responsibilities

• Enforces security-related policies and procedures to provide a safe and secure environment for all employees, visitors, patients and property.
• Performs other duties as assigned to assist in achieving division and hospital goals.
