Job summary

Allied Universal in Derry, NH is seeking a Security Officer for a hospital morgue setting. You will monitor, deter incidents, assist patients, visitors, and staff while maintaining a courteous, professional demeanor.

The role is unarmed, with night shift hours Mon-Fri 12am-8am; pay $20 per hour plus benefits. You will complete regular patrols, document incidents, and coordinate with hospital teams to ensure a safe environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of security-related experience.
• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be able to work in a hospital morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals.
• At least two years of healthcare/medical field experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background check and drug screen per policy.
• Licensing requirements may apply; driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors; follow security procedures and policies.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies calmly per facility protocols.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols across the healthcare location to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with directions and escorts as needed; report unusual conditions.
• Prepare incident reports and communicate with site leadership and responders.
