Job summary

Marion General Hospital is seeking a security professional responsible for hospital safety, security operations, and emergency response across on-site facilities. The role includes managing dispatches, hazmat readiness, and privacy-compliant communications with patients and staff.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, Indiana license, and BLS certification or the ability to obtain during orientation. The position is full-time, night shifts, with 80 hours per pay period.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or its equivalent.
• Valid Indiana operator's license and proof of insurance.
• BLS Certification or must obtain during Orientation prior to reporting.

Responsibilities

• Operate comprehensive safety plans, processes, and security for hospital facilities.
• Respond to emergency dispatches and security systems; assist with hazmat spill response as needed.
• Assist with visitor management, wheelchair and curb-side parking support, and professional customer service.
• Manage infant/child anti-abduction system (HUGS) and central monitoring/communication duties.
