LabCorp is hiring a Phlebotomist for the Mobile Infirmary Hospital location in Mobile, AL. This casual/per diem role covers evenings and nights, with travel to additional sites as needed.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, and either a phlebotomy certification or training, or at least 3 months of phlebotomy experience. Strong customer service and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completion of a training program, or 3+ months of phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and promptly.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
