Job summary

Sanford Health in Eau Claire, WI is hiring a Pharmacist for a retail/community setting within a hospital system. The role includes reviewing prescriptions, counseling patients, and ensuring safe, effective medication use.

You will participate in a team that coordinates care across clinical services and may supervise staff and IV room operations. The position features a 7 on/7 off overnight rotation with 8:30 PM–6:30 AM shifts, and a salary range of $61.00–$87.50 per hour, plus a $20,000 sign-on

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy.
• Knowledge of state and local regulations.
• Hospital experience or residency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review prescriptions for accuracy and needed ingredients.
• Provide information on drug interactions, side effects, dosage and storage.
• Dispense prescription and non-prescription medications in a retail/community setting.
• Advise providers on selection, dosage, interactions and side effects.
• Counsel patients on administration, side effects, storage and questions.
• Monitor patient progress and learn evolving pharmacy technology.
• Provide oversight for pharmacy staff and IV room workflows.
