Job summary

Sharp Metro is seeking a Patient Transporter for the night shift in San Diego, CA. This part-time 0.8 position runs from 9:00 PM to 5:30 AM with 8-hour shifts and weekend every other.

You will mobilize patients with lift equipment, transport equipment and supplies, and coordinate with the health care team. A high school diploma and BLS certification are required; hospital experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or equivalent required.
• AHA BLS Healthcare Provider certification required.
• 1 year hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mobilize patients using lift equipment and mobilization aids under nurse direction.
• Transport equipment, supplies, and patients using the transport tracking system.
• Ensure patient safety and environment is safe for travel; communicate with hospital staff.
