Job summary

SSM Health DePaul Hospital in St. Louis is seeking a Regular, full-time Maintenance Technician for night shifts (10pm – 6:30am) with weekend rotation.

The role covers preventive and corrective maintenance of facilities, systems, and safety components, including fire, life safety, nursing call, infant abduction, paging, Med Gas, and door systems. Applicants should have two years' experience in facilities maintenance.

Qualifications

• Two years' experience in facilities maintenance or related field.

Responsibilities

• Performs repairs according to work orders or verbal instructions and documents tasks per policies.
• Coordinates with vendors, contractors and factory reps for repair and replacement of equipment.
• Performs basic plumbing and electrical repairs and appliance repairs (bulbs, ballasts, fixtures).
• Executes carpentry and minor construction tasks (drywall, walls, flooring, cabinetry, countertops).
• Maintains a clean, safe work environment and assists with material handling.
• Maintains alertness and safe practices; performs other duties as assigned.
