Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a Hospital Supply Clerk for the Night shift in the United States. You will oversee daily supply assessment and replenishment for nursing and procedural units, engaging clinicians and solving problems to keep operations efficient.

Responsibilities include checking stock status, rotating stock, expiration checks, and coordinating shipments with the CSC. You will also handle shipping/receiving and collaborate with hospital staff to ensure safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in supply inventory and replenishment.
• Minimum 1 year experience in customer service.
• Experience in a healthcare environment preferred.
• Good English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily supply assessment and replenishment for nursing and procedural units.
• Checks stock status and back orders; coordinates urgent shipments.
• Rotates stock and checks expiration dates.
• Retrieves, issues, and maintains minor equipment.
• Maintains perpetual inventory where applicable.
• Processes supply requests and conducts storeroom issues/returns.
• Communicates effectively with customers; provides friendly, accurate service.
• Ensures safety and compliance with Joint Commission regulations.
• Manages shipping/receiving; schedules transport between Wellstar sites; maintains transport log.
