Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Technician for full-time night shift to support the hospital campus. The role focuses on landscape upkeep, preventive maintenance of outdoor equipment, and safe, efficient operations across indoor and exterior hospital areas.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred in a mechanical field.
Minimum of one year experience in grounds maintenance or a mechanical-related field.
Three+ years preferred; healthcare maintenance experience preferred.
Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
Detail-oriented with strong documentation abilities.
Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance on outdoor equipment; lubricate, clean, adjust, and repair.
Assist with snow and ice removal from sidewalks, stairways, parking lots, and exterior areas.
Maintain parking lots by filling cracks and potholes.
Update work orders in AIMS and document maintenance activities.
Ensure safety: secure tools, proper lighting, and clear pathways.
Coordinate replacement parts and supplies ordering as needed.
Complete daily timekeeping and documentation of maintenance tasks.
