Northwest Medical Center Tucson is seeking a Part-time Floor Technician to support the Housekeeping department. Night shift runs from 11:00 pm to 7:30 am, with weekend/holiday rotation required.

The role focuses on floor care, waste handling, linen processing, spill cleanup, and general cleaning in a hospital setting. The Environmental Services Worker II ensures infection control, patient safety, and cleanliness standards are followed, with opportunities for professional growth and advancement

Formación

• 1-3 years of environmental services or housekeeping experience.
• Ability to follow cleaning schedules and infection control standards.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsabilidades

• Perform floor care: sweeping, mopping, waxing, shampooing as needed.
• Collect and dispose of waste per policy and regulatory guidelines.
• Handle soiled linens and replace with clean bags.
• Clean and sanitize patient rooms, restrooms, hallways, offices, and common areas.
• Respond to spills with proper disinfection and safety precautions.
• Move furniture and equipment for cleaning and maintenance.
• Monitor supplies and store them safely; document tasks.
• Report maintenance needs to supervisor and keep logs.
