Job summary

JMCGH is seeking a dedicated Environmental Services worker for the night shift to maintain a clean and aseptic environment throughout the facility. The role involves cleaning patient areas and interacting with patients and their families, including neonates through geriatrics, under the supervision of the unit supervisor.

Responsibilities include executing cleaning schedules, reporting equipment issues, and maintaining safety and cleanliness during high occupancy.

Qualifications

• Two weeks of on-the-job training in department.
• Ability to understand and communicate verbally and in writing.
• Be able to follow written and oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning functions in assigned areas following schedules and methods.
• Dust horizontal surfaces and clean fixtures in restrooms.
• Empty trash, damp wipe surfaces, vacuum, and maintain cleanliness of offices, rooms and restrooms.
