Job summary

Intermountain Health Layton Hospital in Layton, Utah is seeking a part-time EVS teammate for nights (10:00pm – 6:30am). You will perform general housekeeping to maintain a sanitary, safe, and attractive facility in line with Joint Commission standards, rotating weekends and holidays.

This role includes cleaning across various areas, handling chemicals per regulations, and supporting emergency and patient discharge areas.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated communication skills to follow written/verbal directions.
• Ability to flex schedule to meet department needs.
• Professional housekeeping experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect assigned areas following procedures.
• Use cleaning chemicals per Joint Commission and OSHA standards.
• Dispose of infectious waste and trash properly.
• Handle and clean up emergency spills per guidelines.
• Follow infection prevention practices and PPE protocols.
• Maintain safe work/storage areas per policy.
