Job summary

OhioHealth Corporation is seeking an Environmental Service Associate to clean and maintain patient rooms, public areas and service areas, while delivering courteous service across the organization. You will perform routine cleaning tasks, restock supplies, and follow safety and quality standards in a fast-paced hospital environment.

The role requires flexible night shifts, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to high reliability operations.

Qualifications

• 16- and 17-year-old individuals without a high school diploma or GED will be considered only if they have a valid work permit.
• 18-year-old individuals enrolled in high school do not need a high school diploma/GED/work permit to be considered.
• HS diploma/GED preferred for individuals over 18 and not in high school.

Responsibilities

• Obtain assigned cleaning or maintenance requests and perform duties.
• Operate and maintain equipment safely; report equipment issues.
• Stock carts and areas, including linen distribution.
• Perform other duties including storeroom maintenance to meet cleanliness and safety standards.
• Provide high level customer service to patients and staff.
• Adhere to safety, quality and efficiency standards as part of a High Reliability Organization (HRO).
