Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Histotechnician I in Royal Oak, MI, working Monday through Friday, 9:30 PM to 6:00 AM with potential shift differentials for second/third shifts. This entry level role offers on-the-job training in histology and a pathway to ASCP certification.

You’ll prepare slides, perform embedding and staining under supervision, contributing to accurate diagnostic support. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma (college science courses preferred) and at least 1 year in a

• Entry level position with on-the-job histology training.
• 1 year of histology or related lab experience required.
• Prior histotechnician experience preferred.
• Able to sit/stand for long periods.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare slides for microscopic evaluation by pathologists under supervision.
• Process paperwork for accessioning and reporting.
• Perform embedding and microtomy under supervision.
• Prepare slides for H&E staining.
