Job summary

Twist Bioscience is seeking a Manufacturing Associate – Specialty Production in Wilsonville, OR. You will produce custom DNA, plasmids and oligo pools, and operate in a high-throughput, automated lab following SOPs.

The role requires attention to detail and strong communication, with potential for batch planning and documentation on shift. You will work in a controlled laboratory environment, handling reagents and instruments, while adhering to safety and GMP-like practices.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-throughput, fast-paced laboratory manufacturing.
• Familiarity with manufacturing or laboratory environments is desirable.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Excel/Word/Atlassian and quick learning of new software.

Responsibilities

• Produce custom DNA, plasmid and oligo pool products per SOPs.
• Perform complex reagent handling and molecular biology workflows on highly automated systems.
• Manufacture, quality control and release of products across Twist's process workflow.
• Plan batches against production forecast, coordinate instrument time, own batch records and tickets.
• Triages process issues on shift.
