Antech Diagnostics in the United States is seeking a Hematology Technician I to perform cytology accessioning, staining and laboratory testing. You will prepare samples, set up instruments, run tests and read, interpret and release results.

The role involves building CBC/UA loads, slide preparation, staining, and preparing blood smears. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent with 6 months of experience as a Hematology Lab Aide, or a 2–4 year science degree preferred.
• Experience setting up, running and operating lab instruments is preferred.
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are important.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data entry is expected.

Aufgaben

• Perform cytology accessioning, staining and laboratory testing.
• Build CBC/UA loads, slide preparation and staining.
• Prepare blood smears and perform re-checks.
• Monitor QA and calibration and maintain records.
• Restock supplies and keep work area clean and organized.
• Participate in enterprise initiatives, special projects, and other duties as assigned.
