Job summary

P-&-K-Stone,-LL in Chico, TX is seeking a Welder/Fabricator/Plant Maintenance technician to perform preventative maintenance and repair of processing equipment at our aggregate plant. This role requires strong mechanical skills and the ability to work safely in an outdoor industrial environment.

You will inspect equipment, schedule maintenance with supervisors, train peers, and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in heavy-duty maintenance; aggregates industry preferred.
• Ability to read and write and communicate effectively.
• Experience with oxy/acetylene torch and MIG welding is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repair of processing equipment.
• Prioritize safety, then quality, then production in daily tasks.
• Maintain equipment backlog with supervision and plant manager guidance.
• Inspect equipment and ensure proper maintenance and housekeeping.
