Job summary

Capital Quarries is seeking an Equipment Operator for our Femme Osage location near Augusta, MO. The role involves operating a 40-ton articulated truck and other heavy equipment, with fluctuating hours and up to 10-hour days, and occasional travel when required.

Applicants must pass pre-employment checks, lift up to 75 lbs, work outdoors in all weather, and cooperate with foremen and teammates to complete daily tasks safely and efficiently.

Job DetailsJob Location: CQC - Femme Osage - Augusta, MO 63332Position Type: Full TimeCapital Quarries is seeking to fill an Equipment Operator position at our Femme Osage with travel when needed. This position consists of fluctuating hours, up to 10-hour days.

JOB DUTIES:

• Dirt removal
• Run 40-ton articulated truck
• Operating equipment in a safe and efficient manner under varying weather conditions, while exposed to dampness, fumes, dust, electrical, mechanical, and traffic hazards.
• Being knowledgeable in the operation of multiple pieces of industry-related equipment.
• Routine maintenance on the equipment, including keeping equipment clean and operable.
• Communicate with foreman and coworkers about the daily job specifications.
• Perform general labor duties when necessary.
• Due to changes and modifications in the job from time to time, employees are required to be flexible and assume other responsibilities assigned by management as deemed necessary.

RequirementsREQUIREMENTS

• This position requires climbing, bending, stooping, walking, sitting, and lifting up to 75 lbs. Must have a valid driver\'s license.
• Experience in the operations of heavy equipment
• Must be punctual, have a strong work ethic, and maintain a good attendance record.
• Must be able to work as a team on all projects
• L lift/move up to 50 lbs.
