Plasser American Corp is seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic / Outside Machinist for the night shift in Chesapeake, VA. The role requires substantial hands-on experience with blueprints, schematics, and mechanical assembly using hand and power tools.

Formación

• At least three years related work experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficient knowledge of blueprints, schematics, and drawings.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and engineering blueprints.
• Experience with using hand and power tools and related safety rules.

Responsabilidades

• Read blueprints/schematics to place parts in relation to each other.
• Assemble parts using hand and power tools and fasteners.
• Set up and align components with bolts, screws, and clamps.
• Assist with loading/unloading and crane operations as needed.
• Maintain organized tools and work area for safety.
• Learn disassembly for rebuild or overhaul.
