Job summary

Duke Regional Hospital in Durham, NC is seeking an Inventory Clerk to support stock, distribution, and SAP/Pyxis-based inventory control. You will restock supplies, process receipts, manage cycle counts, and ensure accurate availability for patient care.

The role requires a High School Diploma (GED) and at least one year in distribution or related service; a valid driver's license may be required. Working hours include 6pm–6am weekends.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED; some college preferred.
• Experience: minimum of one year in distribution, warehousing, shipping/receiving, logistics, or related service environment.
• Valid driver's license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Distribute and restock supplies and/or linen for end users.
• Utilize Pyxis and SAP to document movement of supplies.
• Perform cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Check expiration dates and discard expired products as needed.
• Accept and sign for deliveries from distributors and inspect shipments.
• Enter goods receipts into SAP and file packing slips.
• Prepare vendor returns and rotate stock across inventory areas.
• Transport shipments and deliver to designated recipients.
• Provide excellent customer service for supply and linen inquiries.
