Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Security Officer for night shift (7:00 pm–7:00 am) at our Lorain campus. You will patrol grounds, monitor CCTV, enforce policies and respond to emergencies, while maintaining professional appearance and documentation.

Requirements include a High School Diploma, OPOTA certification, and completion of IAHS S Basic Training within 12 months. Prior law enforcement or security experience is preferred; opportunities for growth and comprehensive benefits are

Qualifications

• High school diploma required, OPOTA certificate, and ongoing compliance with training.
• Experience in law enforcement, military or security settings preferred.
• Ability to follow policies and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients, visitors and staff and patrol grounds and parking areas.
• Monitor CCTV and respond to emergencies and alarms.
• Enforce hospital policies and safety rules.
• Complete incident documentation and coordinate with dispatch.
• Participate in drills and annual safety trainings.
