Job summary

AdventHealth seeks a Hospital Environmental Services Associate in Zephyrhills, FL to maintain clean, safe patient and public areas. You will stock supplies, follow infection control procedures, and log work using the Bed Management system. Candidates should have strong customer service and the ability to communicate in English.

Position is full-time, day shift, with benefits from day one. Prior housekeeping experience in healthcare is preferred, with a focus on safety and quality in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Knowledge of common concepts, practices, and procedures in healthcare housekeeping.
• Ability to maintain clean, safe work areas and equipment.
• Able to communicate in English.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use standard office software.
• Excellent customer service and interaction with patients.
• Ability to read and understand safety data sheets and labels.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned patient and public areas daily, including trash removal and sanitizing surfaces.
• Stock paper items, cleaning solutions, and supplies as needed.
• Follow infection control and isolation procedures and operate cleaning equipment safely.
• Utilize Bed Management system for bed throughput tracking.
• Handle and dispose of normal and biohazardous waste.
• Disinfect areas with bodily fluids per facility standards; document work performed.
