Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking a plant/quarry operator to haul raw materials safely and efficiently. You will perform pre-shift inspections and basic maintenance while coordinating with supervisors and team members.

The role requires strong safety awareness and ability to work in varying weather and site conditions. Starting pay is $22.98 per hour DOE with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
• Strong awareness of safety procedures and hazard recognition.

Responsibilities

• Operate haul trucks to safely transport raw materials within the plant or quarry.
• Conduct pre-shift inspections and perform basic maintenance on equipment.
• Monitor material loads to ensure proper placement and volume.
• Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors to coordinate operations.
• Support plant operations by assisting with general labor tasks as needed.
