Job summary

Heidelberg Materials is seeking a hauls/truck operator to support North America operations in our plant or quarry environment. The role offers starting pay of $22.98 per hour with DOE, and opportunities to contribute to a large materials network.

You will perform pre-shift inspections, operate haul trucks, monitor loads and coordinate with teammates and supervisors. The job requires safety focus, reliability, and flexibility in varying weather and site conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate haul trucks to transport raw materials within the plant or quarry.
• Conduct pre-shift inspections and perform basic maintenance on equipment.
• Monitor material loads for proper placement and volume.
• Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors to coordinate operations.
• Assist with general labor tasks to support plant operations.
