Job summary

Martin Marietta's Snyder Quarry seeks a Haul Truck Driver for night shifts to transport materials and move loads between stockpiles. Safe operation of a 100-ton haul truck and adherence to MSHA rules are required, with training provided at corporate facilities in Dallas for new hires.

Responsibilities include pre-shift inspections, equipment maintenance, and efficient, safe cargo handling. A strong team orientation and good communication are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience required.
• Working knowledge of heavy construction equipment.
• 1+ years of related experience; previous haul truck driver experience a plus.
• Experience with a variety of hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with training and manufacturer’s instruction.
• Perform pre-shift safety inspection on the vehicle systems, equipment and accessories.
• Perform maintenance and service on mobile equipment preventative measures.
• Report needed repairs to supervision.
• Ensure cargo is properly loaded according to safety requirements.
