Job summary

Martin Marietta in Texas is seeking a Haul Truck Driver to safely operate a 100-ton off-road haul truck, moving crushed stone from the pit to the primary crusher and between stockpiles. You will support plant operations, contributing to production efficiency in a team environment.

The role requires attention to safety, reliability and teamwork; training is provided and multiple benefits start day one. This position offers OT opportunities and paths to advanced responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience required.
• 1+ years of related experience; previous haul truck driver experience a plus.
• Working knowledge of heavy construction equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with training and manufacturer’s instruction.
• Perform pre-shift safety inspection on the vehicle systems, equipment and accessories.
• Perform maintenance and service mobile equipment preventative
• Report needed repairs to supervision
• Ensure cargo is properly loaded according to safety requirements
• Responsible for good housekeeping of equipment
• Assist in plant maintenance and repairs
• Assist with operation of other equipment as needed
• Adhere to MSHA and plant safety rules, policies, procedures, and regulations
• Perform duties with minimum supervision
