Job summary

Safeway in Apache Junction, AZ is seeking a Night Crew Supervisor to lead the grocery department after hours. You will supervise and train night crew associates, communicate with the Grocery Manager or Store Director, and ensure policy compliance while delivering fast, friendly service to customers.

Responsibilities include inventory, stocking, displays, safety and loss prevention, and coordinating orders and reports.

Qualifications

• Must be friendly and courteous with customers and coworkers.
• Ability to cooperate with others and work as part of a team.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Must stand and walk for long periods, lift up to 80 lbs., and operate related equipment.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Directs and trains night crew in grocery department operations.
• Supervises night crew activities to maximize sales and customer satisfaction.
• Maintains quality and rotates stock; manages backroom and shelves.
• Assists in ordering, receiving, storing, stocking, and building displays; uses equipment.
• Implements policies, controls shrink, and supports loss prevention.
• Ensures safety and accuracy in reporting; follows procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
