Job summary

ShopRite of Carteret in Carteret, NJ is seeking a Night Crew Clerk to ensure a great customer experience by safely unloading and processing deliveries, and keeping the Grocery Department neat and well stocked.

The role requires English literacy, basic math, physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and availability to work a night shift in a fast-paced retail environment. The team follows safety and efficiency priorities and emphasizes punctual attendance.

Qualifications

• Ability to proficiently read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand the English language.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to stand/walk for the duration of a scheduled shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally, 25 lbs. regularly.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a great customer experience while unloading and processing deliveries in Grocery.
• Maintain a neat, clean, visually appealing department and restock products.
• Follow approved procedures for receiving, coding, dating, pricing, and arranging products.
• Operate equipment safely and comply with all safety and company rules.
