ShopRite of Jersey City is seeking a Night Crew Clerk to support the Grocery Department. You will unload deliveries, process products, and maintain a neat, appealing department while following safety and sanitation guidelines.

The ideal candidate can read and speak English, perform basic math, stand for long shifts, and lift up to 50 lbs. Excellent customer service and teamwork are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Read, write, speak English proficiently.
• Perform basic math and measurements.
• Stand/walk for entire shift and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Interact with customers in a friendly, helpful manner.
• Work cooperatively with others and follow schedules.
• Maintain punctual and regular attendance.

Responsibilities

• Unload and secure received products in storage areas using manual equipment or tools.
• Prepare, store, price mark, and restock items to ensure quality and correct shelf presentation.
• Keep the department clean, organized, and safe; follow sanitation standards.
• Operate equipment (balers, jacks) as required by the department.
• Adhere to company policies, safety rules, and health regulations.
• Assist management and maintain communication within the department.
