Job summary

The Fresh Grocer, located in Philadelphia, PA, is seeking a Night Crew Associate to unload and process deliveries in the Grocery Department and keep the area neat and welcoming for customers.

You will follow safe, efficient procedures, stock and rotate products, assist customers, and perform duties with attention to QA and sanitation standards. Availability for extended shifts and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing, speaking English required.
• Basic math skills required.
• Ability to stand/walk for entire shift.
• Ability to lift 25–50 lbs regularly.
• Able to work with fresh, dried, or processed foods without allergies.
• Tolerance to dust and chemicals during housekeeping.
• Able to interact with customers in a friendly manner.
• Ability to work cooperatively with others.
• Adherence to time and attendance policies.

Responsibilities

• Receive, date, prepare, store, price and restock products with accuracy.
• Unload and secure received product using carts or hand jacks.
• Block and face products; ensure featured sale merchandise is attractively signed.
• Maintain stock and use handheld terminal to keep product in stock.
• Operate baler/compactor; follow safety, QA and health regulations.
• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service; maintain a clean area.
