Job summary

Fresh Grocer of Pascack Rd in Township of Washington, NJ is hiring for a Night Crew Clerk to unload deliveries, stock shelves, and keep the grocery department neat and safe. You’ll help ensure product rotation, accurate pricing, and friendly customer service during overnight or evening shifts.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, clear English communication, and the willingness to follow company procedures and QA standards.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to stand and walk for the duration of a shift.
• Ability to lift 25–50 lbs.
• Ability to work with fresh, dried and processed products without negative allergic consequences.
• Ability to tolerate dust and chemical agents during routine housekeeping.
• Ability to interact with customers in a friendly and helpful way.
• Ability to work cooperatively with others.
• Ability to follow scheduled work times and attendance policies.

Responsibilities

• Unload and process deliveries for the Grocery Department.
• Restock products and maintain a clean, organized department.
• Use equipment and handheld terminals to manage stock and pricing.
• Assist Department Manager as needed.
• Adhere to safety, QA, and company procedures.
