Qualifications

• Attention to detail when weighing cleaning solutions
• GMP environment experience and good documentation practices
• Ability to prioritize assignments to support Purification production
• Clear written and verbal communication and understanding of cGMP regulations
• Familiarity with pharmaceutical equipment including CIP
• Ability to read and follow detailed written instructions
• Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork
• Shift, weekend and holiday work with potential overtime
• Work in cleanroom with PPE and safety requirements
• Knowledge of basic chemical and biological safety procedures
• Education: AA/high school diploma with 0–2 years experience; some college encouraged

Responsibilities

• Perform process equipment cleaning and organization within the Pre-Viral department
• Maintain Pre-Viral area housekeeping per GMP compliance
• Empty trash and manage cleaning supplies
• Perform removal of hazardous waste
• Support all local manufacturing operations
• Supply components, small parts, tubing, etc.
• Complete paperwork following GDP/GMP guidelines
• Manually and mechanically clean portable equipment and small parts
• Receive and distribute supplies into production area
• Perform 5-step cleaning and automated cleaning
• Describe cleaning chemicals and processes used (bleach, 500 ppm, Liquinox)
• Clean small parts in sinks with various water qualities
