Job summary

AdventHealth Denver is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our night shift team in a full-time capacity. You will provide comprehensive patient care, administer medications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support healing.

The role emphasizes safety, documentation, patient education, and compassionate care across the unit. We offer a $20K sign-on bonus for new hires and relocation assistance for eligible candidates, plus opportunities for clinical ladder advancement.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• 1+ year acute care hospital setting preferred.
• RN licensure required; BLS required.
• Fluent English with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, and spiritual factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care.
• Administer medications and treatments safely following physician orders and protocols.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, and self-care.
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient care and ensure effective communication.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient information and outcomes in the medical record.
• Evaluate care plan effectiveness and adjust as needed to improve outcomes.
• Ensure infection control and safety compliance.
• Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication to patients and families.
• Supervise and delegate care within the team to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Engage in professional development and performance improvement activities.
