Job description

About The Role

EKFB is a joint venture that combines expertise from four leading civil engineering and construction companies: Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial Construction, and BAM Nuttall. The partners specialize in designing, constructing, operating, financing, and maintaining railway networks, including Europe's latest high-speed rail projects.

EKFB seeks a Night Shift General Foreman for the Greatworth to Southam (G2S) section. The role focuses on ensuring safe, budget-compliant, and non-conformance-free delivery of the section. Responsibilities include scheduling, coordinating, supervising works, and managing site operatives.

The candidate will lead by example, managing Foremen/Supervisors across sections/disciplines, providing mentorship, sharing experience, and giving direction. They will implement EKFB policies and procedures, adhere to SHEQ legislation, and conduct site inspections.

The role involves ensuring work is performed according to approved method statements, conducting inductions, toolbox talks, daily task briefings, and work assessments. Ensuring all personnel have relevant training, managing equipment and material logistics, and proactively driving progress while minimizing costs are also key duties. Daily documentation such as site diaries and requisitions must be produced and maintained.

About Us

EKFB, a joint venture of Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial Agroman, and BAM Nuttall, has extensive expertise in railway network projects, including high-speed rail. We are delivering civil engineering works for HS2 over an 80 km section, involving viaducts, tunnels, road diversions, overbridges, and significant excavation. EKFB is committed to community improvement, environmental protection, and providing employment opportunities.

We offer a competitive salary and benefits, and foster an inclusive, collaborative, and innovative culture. Our track record includes projects like Crossrail, Millau Viaduct, Mersey Gateway, and Bretagne-Pays de la Loire High Speed Rail. We value diversity and encourage applications from all backgrounds. Additional support can be provided upon request. CVs may be shared with project partners.
