Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc in El Paso, TX is seeking an entry level General Assembler for a 12-month contract (W2) on the 5th shift (6:00 pm–6:00 am, Sat and Sun). The role involves preparation and manufacture of active pharmaceutical ingredients, intermediates, and/or medical devices under SOPs and in compliance with GMP and OSHA standards.

Under direct supervision, you will learn production processes, operate manufacturing equipment, and ensure safety, quality, and environmental compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 4 months of work experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Able to read, write, and understand Basic English preferred.
• Operating skills of manufacturing equipment, tools, and hand/pallet jack preferred.
• Problem solving skills are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision, trains to perform duties related to the preparation and manufacture of active pharmaceutical ingredients, intermediates, and/or medical devices in accordance with standard operating procedures, as regulated by quality, environmental, and safety agencies (FDA, OSHA, etc.).
• Possess a basic understanding of production processes within area of assignment and a working knowledge of manufacturing equipment.
• Follow GMP, s and standard operating procedures.
• Transport materials of varying weight in accordance with established safety guidelines using material handling equipment and additional assistance as required.
• Demonstrates adherence to safety procedures by monitoring personal and peer behaviours, work environment and housekeeping.
• Available for overtime as needed
