Job summary

Shaw Industries Group, Inc. in Dalton, GA is seeking a Utility Relief I for a Sunday-Thursday overnight shift (11:30pm-7:30am).

The role supports the Made to Order (MTO) department by processing and backstamping received product, pulling swatches, stocking, labeling and packing swatches. Primary duties include retrieving POD labels, stocking and relocating product in bins, pulling room scenes, labeling swatches, packaging soft surface products, and assembling empty boxes.

Qualifications

• Prior knowledge of Shaw inventory styles and colors.
• Prior knowledge of Shaw systems such as ASAP and Glink.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve POD labels and pull product from bins for carpet and hard surface product.
• Stock product in bins and relocate as needed.
• Pull room scenes for orders and remove dropped styles from inventory.
• Label swatches and package soft surface product.
• Assemble empty boxes for future use.
• Learn and understand work orders; perform basic math for swatch inventory.
