Job summary

Plastipak in Jackson Center, Ohio seeks a Backup Yard Driver to safely move materials between the warehouse and production areas using a forklift, and to transport trailers across exterior areas as needed. You will work a 12-hour night shift (5:00 pm–5:10 am) on a rotating 2-week cycle, with every other weekend off.

Qualified candidates have a High School Diploma or GED, a valid license, at least 1 year forklift experience, and at least 6 months of semi-trailer driving experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of forklift experience.
• Minimum of six months of experience driving semi-trailers.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to transport raw materials and finished goods between the warehouse and production areas.
• Load and unload trucks for Shipping & Receiving.
• Move trailers from yard area into assigned docks and secure them.
• Follow all company and local safety rules, BOS work instructions and SAP standards.
