Job summary

Luttrell Staffing Group is partnering with a Logan County, KY company to hire a Forklift Operator. This full-time, temp-to-hire role requires forklift certification and 6+ months of experience. Shifts run 10 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.

with occasional Saturday work. Weekly pay and competitive hourly wages are provided. Responsibilities include loading/unloading, weighing, labeling, operating balers and palletizing materials, performing inspections, and following safety procedures in a loud, physical

Qualifications

• 6+ months forklift operation experience preferred.
• Able to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions and safety standards.
• Capable of working in loud, wet, dusty, and physically demanding environments with hot/cold temperature changes.
• Able to train others while performing job duties.
• Communicate effectively with peers and supervisors.
• Perform well in high-stress situations.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials from trailers.
• Weigh, label, and store processed materials.
• Provide weight tickets to front office for billing.
• Ensure tare weight program usage per specs.
• Operate balers, granulators, trash compactor, and other equipment.
• Perform forklift inspections, document findings, and report issues to supervisor.
• Maintain and service forklift, reporting major concerns.
• Sweep and clean work areas including trailers, equipment, scales, and warehouse floors.
• Empty facility trash containers and complete daily scale inspections.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
